STATE OF THE TOWN/STATE OF THE COUNTY ADDRESS

On June 25, 2014, the Chamber Government Relations Committee hosted the State of the Town/State of the County with presentations by Holly Springs Town Manager, Chuck Simmons and newly appointed Wake County Manager, Jim Hartmann.

Both speakers emphasized the strong economic position both areas are experiencing and the need to continue to plan for managed growth.

The Educator of the Month Awards are part of a new initiative of the Education and Workforce Development Committee of the Holly Springs Chamber.

In conjunction with the six public Holly Springs Schools, School principals will select an “educator of the month” to be recognized and presented with an honoree plaque and dinner certificate/gift card.  Each public school in Holly Springs will be able to select an educator twice a year.
