The Educator of the Month Awards are part of a new initiative of the Education and Workforce Development Committee of the Holly Springs Chamber.

In conjunction with the six public Holly Springs Schools, School principals will select an “educator of the month” to be recognized and presented with an honoree plaque and dinner certificate/gift card.  Each public school in Holly Springs will be able to select an educator twice a year.

The Wake County Transit Strategy is a partnership that includes Wake County, Triangle Transit, Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), City of Raleigh, Town of Cary, Research Triangle Foundation, NC State University and Raleigh Durham Airport.  


The Wake County Transit Investment Strategy is a new effort that will have two major initiatives– public outreach and public education about the various trade-offs to be made when investing in transit.

Dress for Success - Business Clothing Donations

Please consider donating gently used business clothing to the Triangle Dress for Success program which benefits over 1600 women in the Triangle area.

The program is in need of:  Conservative business suits for interviews; Blouses and shells; Pumps, particularly size 8 and above, and wide widths; Accessories, including belts, scarves, jewelry, and professional handbags; Scrubs in sizes 1x-5x.

All clothing should be on hangers, clean and in good condition. Accessories should be secured in zip-lock bags. (Folded clothing in bags cannot be accepted).

Lunch will include:
House salad
Your choice of: Chicken Piccata
Tilapia with Fruit Salsa OR
Balsamic Marinated Grilled Veggie Platter
All served with Rice Pilaf and Green Bean Almondine
