Plan on attending the Planning Conference to gain a better understanding of the HSCC goals and objectives for 2011 as well as have input into the 2011 Strategic Business Plan. During the conference, we will set goals and objectives for the five divisions of the chamber: Business Service, Education, Government Relations, Membership Development & Member Service.
The conference has a full schedule of business leaders speaking on strategic planning, business development, collaborative partnerships, and the Chambers' role in education, health care and transportation.

9:00am - 9:45am: Let's Get Moving, Super Street Project: Stephanie Sudano, Director of Engineering Town of Holly Springs. We will learn what a Super Street is and how it is designed to help the flow of traffic. This project is part of the New Hill development on the 55 By-Pass.
9:45am - 10:30am: Collaborative Efforts: The Business of Public/Private Partnership. Michelle Goryn, Institute for Emerging Issues NC State University. We will hear about innovative procurement and financing methods including leveraging private capital resources for public infrastructure projects.

10:45am - 11:30am: The Shape of Things to Come, Lee Anne Nance, Vice President Research Triangle Regional Partnership. Lee Anne will present an in-depth look at the regions economic health and competitive position including population growth, employment, jobs, real estate, and our competitive factors.
11:30am - 12:15pm: Where Are We Going, Carl Dean, Town Manager, Town of Holly Springs, Carl will present an overview of the Town's ten year growth plan.
