Come celebrate America's pastime by joining USA Baseball on Wednesday, June 26 for the 6th Annual ‘Extra Innings’ Triangle Networking Event at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.  From 6:00pm - 8:00 p.m., enjoy a one-of-a-kind networking opportunity, FREE all-you-can-eat food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and fun for the whole family!

During the event the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team will take on the Southern Collegiate League All-Stars at 7:00pm, to wrap up their N.C. tour prior to heading to Japan.

Admission to 'Extra innings' Networking Event and the baseball game is FREE to members of one of the participating chambers of commerce or netowrking groups.

Guest Speaker:  Gina Clapp, Director of Panning & Zoning with the Town of Holly Springs.

The Town of Holly Springs Department of Planning & Zoning will be providing a presentation regarding Commercial Signage and Property Maintenance Guidelines for businesses in Holly Springs.  They will be reviewing updates to the Town’s sign regulations and how they affect our local businesses. Whether you have a small business at home, are located in an office building, a multi-tenant commercial building or a stand-alone building, you will learn about ways that you can market your business through signage (with and without permits) and the responsibilities you have to help keep Holly Springs as an attractive community through property maintenance.  Staff will be on-hand to answer individual questions and to schedule appointments if you’d like for a staff member to meet with you at your business to discuss specific items.

Cary Gastroenterology Associates will Host our August Business After Hours.  They currently have a Medical Office in Cary which has served the area since 1986 and they've decided to open a second location in Holly Springs.  Cary Gastroenterology Associates is dedicated to the field of Adult Gastroenterology, providing care to thousands of patients, diagnosing and treating such disorders as colon cancer, diverticulitis, gastritis, ulcerative colitis and liver disorders.  We urge you to come to their new Holly Springs location, visit their facilities as well as meet their physicians and staff.  There will be lots of fun and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Debra M. Townsley, President of William Peace University, will share her experiences that will help you excel in your career.

She is an international lecturer on effective leadership and has presented her research on three continents, including Asia and Australia.  She has authored or co-authored several studies in business and management journals, such as Strategic Management, and has participated in a variety of organizational proceedings.

In 2011, she was named a mentor within the NCAA Outreach Program for First-Time Chancellors and Presidents.  The NCAA Outreach Program provides new chancellors and presidents of Division III colleges with important information and the NCAA and the management of intercollegiate athletics.

The program is designed by the NCAA to lay the groundwork for greater presidential participation in the governance structure.  She has shared her experiences and offered best practices with such institutions as Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa.  She has participated as presenter at the annual NCAA Outreach Program for new presidents at the NCAA Annual Convention since the program's inception.
