Government and Business Relations

Goal Statement:

This Division of the HSCC will establish and enhance relationships with government officials and business leaders that impact Holly Springs and its business community; provide information to and obtain input from our members on governmental/business issues relevant to them; recommend advocacy positions to the HSCC Board of Directors; and communicate the HSCC viewpoint to our members, elected officials and the business community.
The Government and Business Relations committe works to:
  • Strengthen and develop relationships locally and regionally
    • Town of Holly Springs Council and Staff
    • Area Chambers
    • Wake Education Partnership
    • Regional Transportation Alliance
    • Research Triangle Regional Partnership
    • Wake Tech Community College
    • Wake County Commissioners
  • Hold bi-monthly luncheons to discuss key topics and issues that effect economic development in Holly Springs and the County
  • Host a State of the Town Forum to raise awareness of important projects being funded by the Town
  • Hold candidates forums for local and county races
  • Host a Developers Tour of Holly Springs for developers, brokers, and builders in collaboration with the Economic Development Department of the Town to showcase and bring awareness of property, retail, and office space available in town
  • Host an Economic Forecast
