Our Chamber Thrives due to Countless Volunteer Hours

There are a wide variety of opportunities for members to get involved with the Chamber.  There are one time opportunities for specific events or committees that meet on a regular basis.

Governmental/Business Relations
We are looking for a group of between 5 and 8 members to work on setting the legislative and business development priorities for the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce. The individuals who volunteer for this committee will be engaged with everything from local government to regional issues. We will meet monthly and will make recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors on economic development, transportation and legislative & business issues. As a volunteer on this committee, you will have a great opportunity to get involved and help continue to ensure Holly Springs is a great place to work, live, and raise a family. We will ask for a one year commitment initially. Meeting time and day will be determined by the committee. We are keeping the committee number manageable so please note we will select members on a first come first served basis. This will be an ongoing committee of the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce that will review and implement short/long term goals, objectives and strategies for this division of the Chamber. This committee will work directly with a Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Director and the Chamber’s Executive Director.

Member Service Division Events & Programs
This committee will serve two valuable areas for the Chamber, ongoing programs and fundraising. The Chamber strives to be a valuable resource for our business members by providing unique products & services, developing creative & informed business leaders and enhancing the economic environment for our members and the community at large. Events and programs are essential to providing members marketing and networking opportunities to help build their businesses.  This committee will help develop ideas for programs and fundraising and will help manage everything from identifying program budgets, recruit specific event volunteers and evaluate the outcome of each program. We will also look very closely at existing program and make recommendations to the board of directors for programs and benefits going forward.
