Farmers Market in Holly Springs Downtown

Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - Noon Welcome to The Farmers Market in the Downtown Village District. We're open Saturday mornings in the parking lot on South Main Street between Town Hall and Mims Towne Square. See the vendors we have operated at the market. We are still recruiting vendors on a first come, first served basis. See an application and rules on the For Vendors page. Friends of Bluegrass presents Blue Moon Rising
May 17
"Their new album is a great collection of bluegrass that I'm sure folks are going to enjoy." "Blue Moon Rising is a rare and hot commodity in the bluegrass world fantastic young musicians who do justice to the roots of the genre." Blue Moon Rising is a national touring band based out or East Tennessee who garnered international recognition with the release of their last album "On the Rise." The CD proved to be a symbolic title for the group's first Lonesome Day Record album debuting at #14 on the Billboard's Bluegrass Chart in 2005 and still charting into 2007. Tickets are $13 for Friends of Bluegrass Members and $15 for the general public. The show begins at 8pm.

And with the success of 2 sold out shows in a row last fall, an additional showtime has been added to each date; Shows at 5pm & 7pm. Come enjoy the live band, special effects, puppet show, & hilarious characters that are only found in LittleLand. And your kid may even get to perform on stage?! Pinecone's "The Listening Room Series" presents Mike Seeger

Friends of Bluegrass presents G2 Bluegrass Band

Saturday, June 21, @ 8:00pm Considering the fact that all the guys are somewhere in their 20s, they are a considerable young band and resemble the younger Bluegrass musicians of Sweden today. These guys are determined to play the bluegrass and they do it their own way. Their talents has garnered them recognition as the #1 European Bluegrass Band 2007 from the European Bluegrass Music Association (EBMA). "Where the Tall Grass Grows: is the latest release from this bluegrass band based out of Stockholm, Sweden. "G2" stands for "second generation" as all the band members learned to play bluegrass from their parents.
