Join other women for interactive roundtables where women from a variety of businesses come together to seek guidance from one another on common issues in an informal atmosphere. As a wife, mother, and business woman, Sharon will share her experiences and struggles with learning to let go of the guilt while balancing the multiple roles women face in their life.

Sharon returns to television as host of My Carolina Today after taking a four year break from anchoring daily newscasts on NBC 17. The Emmy Award winning journalist brings 18 years of experience in front of the camera as well as an entrepreneurial spirit as an owner of a consulting company based in Raleigh.
Sharon has covered thousands of stories that have affected people's lives on a daily basis. From the Persian Gulf War to John Glenn's historic return to space to the Super Bowl to hurricanes, floods, politics, and entertainment. She has moderated gubernatorial and mayoral debates and she's done one-on-one interviews with the likes of Jerry Orbach, Martha Stewart and Diane Sawyer. Before coming to NBC 17 Sharon anchored and reported the news for stations in Orlando, Greensboro, Shreveport, Monroe and Tallahassee.
Community involvement is important to Sharon as she serves on the Board of Directors for the Pay It Forward Fertility Foundation, the Sisko Foundation and the Nickelby Project. She also volunteers on the Advisory Council for the Assistance League of the Triangle and the Communications Committee of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. In addition she works with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
Sharon and her husband have three children and live in Raleigh.
